Elaine Marie Luehlfing Lehmann age 83 of Seguin, Texas passed away on July 29, 2018. Elaine was born in Comal County, Texas to Werner and Elvira (Tausch) Luehlfing. She married Arnold Lehmann, Jr. on October 28, 1952 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Geronimo, Texas. Elaine grew up on a farm in Comal County and attended Danville School. She married and moved to El Paso with her husband, Arnold Jr. during his time in the military. She and Arnold returned to Guadalupe County to farm family land. She worked at Mission Valley Mills for many years and then later opened a business in McQueeney. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold Lehmann, Jr., daughter, Donna J. Lehmann, her parents, sisters, Elinor Luehlfing Monroe and husband Eugene Monroe and Evelyn Luehlfing Lehmann, brother, Waldimar Luehlfing, son-in-law, Gene Richardson, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold, Sr. and Annie Lehmann, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Everett and Benola Lehmann, Evelyn and Melvin Schwarzlose, Nelda Lehmann Schrank and Harold Goebel. Survivors include her daughters, Debra Jo Lehmann Richardson and Delva Joi (DJ) Lehmann Carleton and husband Marcus; grandchildren who knew her as "Nana", Dawn Haas Lynn and husband Todd, Shawn Haas, Timothy Haas and wife Jenn, Travis Carleton, Anthony Haas and wife Lisa, Matthew Haas, and Amanda Haas Dearman and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Max Lynn, Emma and Chloe Haas, Lily Haas, Jacob, Hayden and Payten Dearman, sisters-in-law, Trudy Luehlfing, Gerlene Goebel, and Josie Lehmann; brothers-in-law, Leroy Lehmann and Henry Schrank; extended family, Michael Haas, Tammy Perez and family, and Jennifer Gasch; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery in Geronimo. Elaine will be remembered as a Pillar of her family and will be greatly missed by all. She maintained a strong work ethic and was always doing for others. Her legacy of love will continue.
