Elinor Harborth Boerger, age 92 of Kingsbury, passed away on July 31, 2012. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangelists' Lutheran Church with Rev. Duane Bamsch officiating. Interment will follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery. Elinor was born on January 3, 1920 in Guadalupe County to Valtin Hugo and Edna Dorothea Rosa Busse Harborth. She will be remembered as a lifetime member of Evangelists' Lutheran Church, Kingsbury, Charter member of Kingsbury VFD Auxiliary and Secretary-Treasurer of the Kingsbury Cemetery Association for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chris Boerger, her son, Charles Michael Boerger, her brother, Leon Harborth, and her daughter in law, Susan Boerger. Survivors include her children, Chris (C.H.) Boerger, Jr. and wife Celeste, Martha L. Blume and husband Gerald, Lucille M. Reiley and husband Larry; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Boerger and wife Elizabeth, Myron J. Boerger and wife Melissa, Una Ann Contreras and husband Victor, Lisa Reiley Anderson and husband Joshua, Landon Reiley and wife Chris, Lorne Reiley and Ryan E. Blume; brother, Melvin "Cracker" Harborth; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
