Elisa Maldonado, age 93, passed away on January 19, 2008. She was born on September 16, 1914 in Marion, Texas to Fernando and Manuela Santos Madrigal. She is preceded in death by her husband Mariano Maldonado. Survivors include her seven children; Jorge Maldonado, Rogelio Maldonado, Edilberto Maldonado, Maria Elena Alva, Jesus Maldonado, Santana Maldonado and Josefina Lopez; 102 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at Tres Hewell Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart from Tres Hewell Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. to St. John's Lutheran Cemetery for a graveside service on Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
