Elizabeth "Beth" A. Nickerson was born May 26, 1939 in Gillett County, Texas, to Adele Louise (Atzger) and Benjamin F. Marrou, Sr.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Adele Marrou; Phil Johnson, Jr., Joseph "Nick" Nickerson and Jim Nickerson.

Survivors include brother, Ben F. Marrou, Jr. (Judy); her daughters , Janie Taylor (Robert), Mary Brown Baird (Duayne), Sandy Bode (Ken) and Betsy Nickerson; son, Charles "Les" Nickerson; daughter-in-law, Janis Nickerson; grandchildren, Kenny, James, Megan, Nicole, JoJo, Veronica "Roni", Jeanene, Sarah, Amanda, Kimberly, Venessa, Alena and Brandy; as well as many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, other loving family and friends.

Beth enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. She was a volunteer at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center as a Pink Lady in the gift shop. Beth was a member of the St. Ann's Circle at St. James Catholic Church.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Stan Fiuk officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, James Taylor, Kenny Taylor, Derrick Wolter, Benjamin Marrou, Stephen Cathey and David Botello.
