Elizabeth Gladys Dotson, age 82 of Seguin, passed away on February 18, 2023. Elizabeth, also known to family and friends as Gladys, was born on March 4, 1940 in Kingsbury, Texas to Elizabeth Madeline (Roemisch) and Alvin Wilburn Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Alvin "Butch" Brown.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Clyde "Buddy" Dotson; children, Amy Hawkins (Steve) and Stacy Dill (Ronald); grandchildren, Stephen Hawkins, Hannah Hawkins, Alyssa Dill, Kayla Dill and Brady Dill; sister, Mary Ann Schwerdtfeger (Donald); brother, Wilburn Allen Brown (Judy); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Gladys attended St. James Catholic Church and graduated from Seguin High School. Gladys worked at Wuest for over 40 years and for Baenziger's for a short time. She also worked for Vivroux until the disastrous fire. Gladys then spent her time taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking. Many people looked forward to her homemade bread which she enjoyed baking.

Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kingsbury Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
