Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Williams Beicker, age 83 of Seguin, passed away on August 23, 2018. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5-7 PM, Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. with Willie Spreen officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Ann was born on July 26, 1935 to Zack Lewis and Etta Jane (Maddox) Williams in Sebastian, TX. In 1946 the family moved to Guadalupe County. On July 8, 1953 she married Lenroe Allen "Pete" Beicker. They were married for 59 years until his death in 2013. In 1969 the entire family joined Emanuel's Lutheran Church. Ann worked as a teacher's aid in the public schools and then decided to attend Texas Lutheran College (now Texas Lutheran University) where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education graduating "Cum Laude" in 1973. Ann had been an active member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church where she served in the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School. She was also actively involved in various other organizations and activities throughout the community. Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lenroe Allen "Pete" Beicker, her grandson, Jonathan Allen Beicker, her parents, her sisters, Juanita Benson and Billie Klein, her brother, Ross Williams and her Godchild, Patricia Ann Sizemore. Survivors include her daughter Janice Wright and husband Phillip, son David Lenroe Beicker and wife Shelly, son Jeffery Allen Beicker and wife Barbara, daughter Bonnie Hammock and husband Doug. Seven grandchildren, Sarah Wright Bradshaw, Zeb Wright and wife Sally, Josh Beicker and wife Lia, Ethan Beicker, Bryce Beicker and wife Brandi, Kambra Beicker and friend Duncan Larko, and Jason Beicker; great grandchildren, Haiden Wiley, Elli Beicker, Klaire Bradshaw, Elias Bradshaw, Canaan Beicker, Wyatt Beicker, Jaxson Beicker and Conner Wright. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Beicker, Ethan Beicker, Bryce Beicker, Sidney Mielke, Tex Saengerhausen, and Rick Lopez. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel's Lutheran Church, 206 N. Travis, Seguin, Texas, 78155 or to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P. O. Box 1593, Seguin, Texas, 78155-1593.
