Elvira K. Harborth went into the arms of the Lord on May 27, 2013 at the age of 95. She was born on December 16, 1917 in Guadalupe County TX. She was married to the late August E. Harborth on January 1, 1939 at Friedens United Church of Christ, Geronimo TX. They were married for 63 years and were lifetime members of Friedens Church. She will be missed by her family and many friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who helped by working the many jobs of running the family farms and ranch operations. She also loved taking care of her grand kids and great grand kids. She was loved as Omie to these kids. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, August Harborth, her parents, Richard Krackau and Lena Wagner Krackau, her brothers Wilburn and Clarence Krackau, brother-in-law, Daniel Herrmann, sister-in-law, Alice Meyer Krackau, and great granddaughter Rebecca Lynn Weatherman. She is survived by her daughter June Herzog and husband Randy, son Nelson and wife Sandy, son Richard "Dickie" and wife Janice and daughter Nancy Harris and husband Joe Ed, sisters –in-law Lorine Knibbe Krackau and Evelyn Harborth Herrmann and 7 grandchildren (Randall Herzog and wife Tina, Russell Herzog and wife Brenda, Juliane Herzog and friend Richard, Pam Weatherman and husband Jerry, Michelle McClintock and husband Ken, Denise Adams and husband Michael and Darrell Harborth and wife Tammy), and two step grandchildren (Ronald Harris and wife Amanda and Richard Harris and wife Lisa), 17 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren . Services: Visitation will be on Thursday, May 30th from 5 to 7 PM at Tres Hewell Mortuary, 165 Tor Drive, Seguin TX and the funeral service will be Friday, May 31st at 10 AM at Friedens United Church of Christ, 2555 Friedens Church Road. Interment will be in Lone Oak Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Friedens United Church of Christ Memorial Fund or the charity of one's choice.
