Emory Lou "Susie" Theiss, age 69 of Seguin, passed away on July 24, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Country Church with Pastor Butch Ikels and Pastor Neil Kibbe officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. She was born on March 22, 1943 in Victoria to Emory Pritchard and Augusta Faye Kraemer Cox. She was a business entrepreneur and "the first female terminal manager for a major trucking company." She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Fricks; daughters, Meloni Ray Fricks and Tamara Faye Fricks; her parents, and sister, Shirley Faye Zimmerman. Survivors include her loving husband of 15 years, Roy Theiss; granddaughters, Mandi Fricks and Cheyenne Fricks; step-daughter, Elaine Wright and her family; nieces, Kelly Brown and her family and Terry Devall and her family; nephew, Michael Meneley and his family and numerous other family members including her beloved pets.
