Eric Wayne Shaw, age 68 of Mico, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2019. Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2 p.m. followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel in Seguin.  Private interment will be held on Monday in the Bandera Cemetery in Bandera, Texas. Wayne was born on January 28, 1951 near Freeport, Texas to William Raymond Shaw and Ruth Johnston Shaw Wilkes. He is preceded in death by his father who died serving in the Korean Conflict, and his son Ricky Tait. Survivors include his loving wife, Carolyn Shaw; children, Rod Tait and wife Maria, Erica Shaw, and Allan Shaw and wife Kelly; daughter-in-law, Nicole Tait; grandchildren, Buford Eeds and wife Casey, Thalia Gonzales and husband Bradley, Carolina Tait and husband Ismael Contreras, Priscilla Tait, Erika Tait, Cameron Tait and Brayden Tait; mother, Ruth Wilkes; sisters, Kathy Curlee and Cecelia Curlee Coleman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
