Ernestine "Tina" Luna, age 80 of Seguin, passed away on November 12, 2025.  Tina was born on July 5, 1945, in Seguin, Texas to Theresa (Castillo) and Felix Luna.

Although Tina contracted polio at an early age, it never kept her from striving to be her best self. She graduated from high school, went on to business school, and worked at United Cotton Goods until it closed its doors in 1990.

Tina was devoted to God and was most recently a member of Kingsbury United Methodist Church, having also attended La Trinidad Iglesia Metodista in earlier years. She loved the Lord deeply and was often called upon to share His word, delivering messages and eulogies at services for friends and family.

A woman of great faith, Tina was a true prayer warrior who believed wholeheartedly in His merciful love. She will be deeply missed by her family, her church family, and her many cherished friends.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Cruz Urquiza, Manuel Urquiza and Jim Luna, and sisters, Dionisia Urquiza and Lydia Arriola.

Survivors include her siblings, Moses Urquiza, and Lee Wilson and husband Len; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, other loving family members and many friends.

Visitation will begin on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Joe Berkley officiating.  Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.  A reception will follow.  Serving as pallbearers will be Abel Acuña, Raymond Arriola, Justyn Garcia, Gilbert Ochoa, Jon Ochoa and Robert Rodriguez.
