Ernesto Reyes Perez, Jr., "Neddy", age 72 of Seguin, passed away on November 26, 2017. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Nick Carrillo and Eliberto Perez officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery. Neddy was born on June 6, 1945 in Seguin to Ernesto, Sr., and Jesusa "Susie" (Reyes) Perez. Neddy graduated from Seguin in 1963 and began working for D&M Supply. Later, Neddy went to work as a concrete finisher while his wife Irma ran her beauty salon El Elegante. Although he was a quiet and unassuming man, Neddy had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He also had a passion for music; he was a gifted saxophone player and played with "The Broken Hearts." He also loved to fish, hunt, and travel. He is preceded in death by his mother, and former wife, Irma Perez. He is survived by his son, Trey Perez, daughter-in-law, Christine Perez; grandchildren, Jonathan Perez (Alyssa), Brandon Perez, and MaKayla Perez; great-grandson, Elijah James Perez; his father, Ernesto "Ernie" Perez; brother, Ruben Perez (Marisela); sisters, Lisa Perez-Trevino (Robert), Lori Ann Lopez (Luis); as well as nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Perez, Brandon Perez, Jeffrey Urquiza, Dillon Perez, Matthew Perez, and DJ Garcia.
