Ester Andrade, age 71 of Seguin passed away on May 18, 2017. Visitation will begin at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 5 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7PM. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 for a 10AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Ester was born May 24, 1945 in Seguin to Joaquin and Manuela (Rodriguez) Alcoser. Ester worked for the Seguin Independent School District, as a lunch monitor and crossing guard. Ester was an avid reader, she loved to do arts and crafts; listen to music, and go dancing. She was a Godly woman, and loved praising God. Ester loved her family greatly and was loved by them. She is preceded in death by her parents. Ester is survived by her devoted husband, Joe Andrade; children, Leticia Andrade, Irma Andrade, and Joe Luis Andrade; grandchildren, Marissa Lopez, Giovanni Andrade, Angelina Ramirez, and Sofia Andrade; siblings, Gloria Barrientez, Yzabel Alcoser, Rosa Gonzales, Margie Jimenez, Mary Jimenez, Joaquin Alcoser, Jr., Ray Alcoser, and Ricardo Alcoser. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Luis Andrade, Secilio Luna, Noel Barrientez, Jesse Ramirez, Michael Hernandez, and Chris Gonzales.
