Esther R. Blumberg Spreen, age 72 of Seguin, passed away on September 14, 2014. Esther's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Pastor Anne Kolmeier and Pastor Bill Irons officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date. Esther was born on February 26, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to Clinton Elmer and Agnes (Bosse) Blumberg. Her son, William A. "Bubba" Spreen and her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Willie Spreen; sons, Todd Spreen and Steven Spreen and wife Jennifer; daughter-in-law, Linda Spreen; grandchildren, William C. "Buddy" Spreen, Allyson Spreen, Isaac Spreen and Sydney Spreen; brother, Clinton Blumberg, Jr. and wife Cathy; brother-in-law, Louis Spreen and wife Mary Ann; aunt, Dicksie Blumberg; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
