Esther L. Mayer, age 91 of Seguin, passed away on November 30, 2012. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich and Pastoral assistant Donna Lou Zipp officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Esther was born on February 22, 1921 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Willie Mayer and Elsie Mayer Schroeder. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Earline Mayer and Thusnelda Friedeck and her brother-in-law, Marvin Friedeck. Survivors include her loving nieces, Sandy Clopton and husband Rusty, Jeannie Hall and husband Tom, and Earlene Jarzombek and husband Jerald; great-nieces and great- nephews, Russell Clopton and wife Pam, David Clopton and wife Susan, Stephanie Warncke and fiancé Chad Burkhardt, Emily Warncke and fiancé Andrew Kasmiroski, great-great niece and nephews, Paul, Verona and Joseph Clopton; other loving family members.
