Ethel Drusilla West , age 77 of Granbury, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2022. Druci was born on December 7th, 1944 in Brady, Texas to Walter and Bennie Long. She married Larry West Sr. on July 9th, 1966 in Austin, Texas.

As a teenager, Druci and her family lived in Spain for 3 years where her father was stationed before returning to the United States. Shortly after, Druci and her sister began college where she studied journalism at the University of Nebraska. She had 28 aunts and uncles and 50 first cousins whom she enjoyed growing up and spending time with at family reunions. She was an active member of Triple Cross Cowboy church and loved working in her garden, caring for her plants, cooking large meals and hosting family for the holidays, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved the wonderful community of her High Nooners group at church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Druci is survived by children, son: Larry West Jr. and wife Cherry, son: Gary West, daughter: Jill Brown and husband Henry, grandchildren: Baylie Collins and husband Eric, Kennedy Casleton and husband Jacob, Lauren West, Faith Brown, and Hannah Olthoff, great-grandchildren: Enzo, Ellorie, Bella, Vanessa, and Eli, and sister: Cheryl Long

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury, Texas.
