Eugene Emmett Dobson of Seguin, formerly of Beeville, passed away on September 1, 2015 at the age of 88. He was born on March 9, 1927 in Milford, IN. Eugene joined the US Navy in 1944 and proudly served for 27 years, retiring in 1971 as a CWO3. On July 19, 1947, he married the love of his life, Nelda Jean Osborn and shared 57 wonderful years together before her passing in 2005. Eugene is also preceded in death by his son, David Dobson, and son-in-law, Clayton F. Bushman. He is survived by his children Denise Bushman of Seguin, TX, Danny Dobson and wife Patty, of Beeville, TX, Dee-Ann Dobson of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren Shane Dobson and wife Kelli of Round Rock, TX, Ashley Brown and husband Gene of Las Cruces, NM; great-grandchildren Thaden Brown and Ardyn Grace Dobson. Private interment will be held at a later date.
