Eunice Marie Haselwood, age 94 of Seguin, Tx., formerly of Quincy, Illinois went to be with her Lord on June 16, 2008 after a brief illness. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville and Rev. Neil Kibbe officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in Payson New Cemetery in Payson, Illinois on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Eunice (Noonie to family and friends) was born November 16, 1913 in Sedalia, Missouri to Rev. Frank and Alma Hood. Preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Marion Haselwood, Eunice is survived by her daughter Marilyn Koontz and husband Les of Seguin; granddaughters, Kathy Slee and husband Dave of Quincy, Ill; Barbara O'Brien and husband Don of Phoenix, AZ; Lisa Robbins and husband Rick of Seguin; grandson, Alan Koontz and wife Stephanie of Seguin; 11 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Jordan, and Jenna Slee; Emma Ridley and Connor O'Brien; Dana and Lindsay Robbins; Jessica, Leah, and Conner Allstott; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Gaby and Gavin. Eunice had a life-long devotion to her faith and church and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
