Eva Rios Rivera, age 66 of New Braunfels passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023, surrounded by loving family. Eva was born on November 2, 1956, to Andrea (Perez) and Rudolfo Rios.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Santos Guerrero and Luisa Serrato, and brother, Augustine Rios.

Survivors include her loving husband Armando Rivera; daughter, Yvette Rios (John); son, Chris Rivera; brothers, Domingo Rios (Gloria) and Rudy Rios (Diane); sister, Sylvia Rios; grandchildren, Joe Anthony (Stephanie), Joshua (Bethany), Jacob and Joel; great-grandchildren; Serenity, Jariah, S'Jay, and JJ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and many friends.

Eva was a selfless, strong, and hardworking woman who began her battle with pancreatic cancer in March 2021. The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone who showered her with love and support throughout her battle.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5:00 pm. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Timothy Zapata and Pastor Rob Wisdom officiating.
