Evamaria E. "Evy" Berry, age 73 of Katy, formerly of Seguin, passed away on December 19, 2014. Evy was born on September 28, 1941 in Germany to Karl and Elisabeth Wollenburg. She worked for the Seguin Housing Authority for 31 years, having served as the Executive Director for 19 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a long time member of the Seguin Noon Rotary Club, Seguin Art League and the American Legion H U Wood Post 245 Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William George Berry and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Berry; son, Joseph Berry and wife Teresa; granddaughter, Amanda Berry; numerous other loving family members and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Joe Soto and Bob Pulliam officiating. Private interment will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on December 24, 2014.
