Everett (Verne) Fullenwider, age 87 of Stockdale, passed away on June 30, 2011. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 9:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Frank Pomeroy officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Verne was born on May 19, 1924 in Denver Colorado to Ralph Verne and Catherine Winger Fullenwider. He is preceded in death by his sons, Roger Wayne Fullenwider and Charles Wayne Fullenwider, his daughter, Charlotte Rutter, his parents and his siblings, Ralph, Virginia, Jack and Lois. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille A. Fullenwider; son-in-law, Dane Rutter; grandchildren, Michelle Postert and husband Rick, Roger Elkins and wife Bobbie Jo, and Roger Wayne Rhoads; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine and husband George; Dolores and husband Roy; brother, Bob and wife Sarah; numerous nieces and nephews.
