Felix Y. Herrera, age 51 of Seguin, passed away on December 27, 2013. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by a rosary and service at 10 a.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Felix was born in Seguin, Texas to Eugene Herrera and Mary G. Cimental on November 27, 1962. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Herrera, his brother, Michael Herrera, maternal grandparents, Andres and Sara Garcia, paternal grandparents, Felix and Longina Herrera and nephew Jared John Herrera. Survivors include his wife Rachel C. Herrera; daughters, Michelle (Danny) Mendoza and Amber (Joseph Barr) Herrera; son, Michael (Christy Ramos) Herrera; parents, Mary and Basilio Cimental; brother, Johnny (Josie) Herrera, sister, Angela (Nicholos) Martinez; grandchildren, Mason, Kadyn, Malachi, Victoria, Lencho and Max; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
