Fidel H. Aguilar, age 85 of Seguin, passed away on July 22, 2024.  Fidel was born on April 24, 1939 in Seguin, Texas to Teresa (Herrera) and Santos Aguilar.

Fidel is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Aguilar, his parents, and his siblings, Juana Rodriguez and Maria Rosales.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Josefina Aguilar; daughters, Graciela Garcia (Daniel), Sylvia Saenz (Albert), Irene Aguilar, Yolanda Hernandez (Gabriel), and Carmen Davila (Edward Jr.); son Gabriel Aguilar; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jose Aguilar, Sophia Vigil, Olivia Cortez, David Aguilar, Maggie Loriaux, and Raymond Aguilar; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers are: son Gabriel Aguilar, grandsons Andreas Saenz, Gabriel Aguilar, Jr., John Aguilar, Joseph Aguilar, and Edward Davila III.
