Flora "JoJo" Diaz, age 79 of Seguin, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 24, 2018. Flora was born on May 29, 1938 in East Chicago, Indiana to Macario Zamora and Marie Elizabeth (Whitmore) Diaz. She lived in West Los Angeles, California for many years where she worked as a chemist for an aerospace firm before retiring to Seguin in 2003. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Railey. Survivors include her siblings, Elizabeth Saldivar and husband Robert, Jesse Diaz, Louis Diaz, Charlene Brandt and Patricia Diaz; numerous nieces and nephews. Per her request there will be no services. Because of Flora's love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P. O. Box 1593, Seguin, Texas, 78155-1593.
