Florence Anne Beauchamp Brawner, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on June 21, 2012. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Purdy officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. A reception will follow at The Weinert House, 1207 N. Austin St., Seguin, Texas. Anne was born on May 26, 1933 in La Grange, Texas to Harold and Marguerite Townsend Beauchamp. Anne was Valedictorian of the Seguin High School Class of 1951. She received her Masters in Education from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University) where she taught for over twenty-five years. Anne is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Eugene H. Brawner; children, Mary Anne Barnett and husband Byron, Tom Brawner, Nancy Bush and husband Dave, and Jeff Brawner and wife Pam; grandchildren, Erin, Daniel and Jenna Barnett, Drew and Kendall Brawner, Stephen and Hannah Bush, and Katie, Sarah and Meg Brawner; great-granddaughter, Madison Bush; sister, Dotsy Beauchamp; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lester and Mary Frances Brawner, Delores Brawner, Bruce and Lexie Brawner; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.
