Florence "Flo" Blakeney, age 78 of Seguin, passed away on February 21, 2017. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jimmie Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Flo was born on April 5, 1938 in Xenia, Ohio to Benjamin Franklin and Grace Clara (Pickel) Chambliss. She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Johnny Blakeney; children, Brian Blakeney and wife Brenda, Lauri Palmer and husband Kenneth, and Mark Blakeney; grandchildren, Tiffany Bowles and husband Kevin, Trey Palmer, Amberly Blakeney, Austen Blakeney, Tayler Palmer, Zachery Blakeney, and Tara Palmer; great-grandson, Bryson Bowles; sisters, Martha Jane "Pi" Randall and husband Jim, and Phyllis Ann Pease; brother, Charles "Chuck" Garringer and wife Gayle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Bowles, Robert Chambliss, Joseph Blakeney, Randall Blakeney, Jr., Trey Palmer, Austen Blakeney, and Zachery Blakeney.
