Floyd Joseph (Jodie) Frost, age 61 of Seguin, passed away on March 31, 2011. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Price and Rev. Neil Kibbe officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Jodie was born on July 29, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to Floyd Raymond and Mildred Dolle Frost. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School. He will be remembered for volunteering on the Steam Train from Cedar Park to Burnet. He moved to Seguin many years ago and began volunteering at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center from December 1994 to March 2008 where he logged in a remarkable 22,610 hours. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sister, Carol Buls; nephew, Ronnie Steck; cousins, Louise Fuselier and Betty Ann Matthies and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be C. Henry Matthies, III, Wesley Matthies, Bill Kelly, Stanley Dolle and Gary Goodin. Honorary pallbearers will be the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center Volunteers. The family would like to thank the administration and staff of Hacienda Oaks for their compassion and loving care of Jodie. They would also like to thank Dr. Sakararao Tam Tam and Dr. Rebecca Castro for their special care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center Volunteers or Guadalupe Regional Medical Center Hospice, 1215 E.
