Frances Hounsell, age 91 of Seguin, passed away on April 13, 2013. Private services will be held at a later date. Frances was born on October 17, 1921 in Burkburnett Texas to John Wilson Berry and Hazel Black Berry Meyers. She received her Bachelor's degree in Home Economics from Texas A & I in Kingsville and her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Prairie View A & M. She retired from the Refugio Independent School District where she served as the school librarian. She and her husband Bill moved to Seguin in 2000. They enjoyed travelling and model railroading. Frances also enjoyed reading and crafting. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Hounsell, her parents, her brother, Carl Berry and her sister, Melba Caudill. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Cage and husband Buster; son, Bob Hounsell and wife Cyndy; grandchildren, Stephen Cage and best friend Teresa Kacerguis, Michael Hounsell, Bethany Margolies and husband Josh, and Andrew Cage; several nieces and nephews. Frances will be missed by her children and grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P. O.
