Frances Ware Shindler, age 88 of Luling passed away on February 6, 2009. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Luling with The Rev. Russel Matthews officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Pandora. Frances was born on December 16, 1920 in Pandora, Texas to Ferdnand and Sadie Elizabeth Irvin Ware. Frances worked for many years in the transportation industry and civil service. While in Corpus Christi she served as an active volunteer at Spohn Shoreline. She is survived by her children, Charles Shindler and wife, Rebecca and Rosine Carter and husband, Stuart; grandchildren, Tommy Shindler and wife, Nancy, Karrie Scrivens and husband, Edward, Harly Shindler; sister, Ella Caperton of Lafayette, La.; brother, Cyrus Ware and wife, Mildred; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she loved having them gather together. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Maples, Darrell Wright, Mark Caperton, Robert Dennard, Richard Caperton and Mac Maples.
