Francisco Soto Barrientez, age 61 of Seguin, passed away on July 8, 2014. Visitiation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Ed Bilderback of Living Waters Worship Center officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Francisco was born in Seguin, Texas to Gregorio and Porfiria (Soto) Barrientez. He is preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother, Gregorio, Jr., Father-in-law Roberto Flores, Sr., Brother-in-laws, Roberto Flores, Jr., Fermin Flores, Antonio Flores and sister-in-law, Maria Arriola. Survivors include his wife, Oralia Barrientez; son, Frank Barrientez and wife Erin; daughters, Cassie Barrientez and Crystal Barrientez; grandchildren, Beau Vincent, Matthew Hernandez, Frank Barrientez, Jr., Emalie Gonzales, Mariela Barrientez, Gregorio Barrientez, Brandon Esparza and Austin Francisco Barrientez; sisters and brothers, Pedro (Gloria) Barrientez, Gregoria (Felix, Sr.) Sassenhagen, Anastacio (Olga )Barrientez, Gloria (Nasir) Ali, and Inocencio (Jean) Barrientez; Numerous nieces and nephews as well as his loving mother-in-law, Guadalupe S. Flores and Oralia's loving sister and brothers and extended family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Noel Barrientez, Patrick Barrientez, Bruno Sepeda, Jr., Felix Sassenhagen, Jr., Andrew Barrientez, and Beau Vincent. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
