Francisco A. Gonzales, age 73 of Seguin, Texas passed away on July 17, 2025.  Francisco was born on October 4, 1951 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Ventura (Acevedo) and Gregorio B. Gonzales.

Francisco honorably served in the United States Air Force. Francisco loved life, always smiling, always friendly, telling anyone who would listen to a joke he had heard or one he made up.  He enjoyed sports especially the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.  Scratching lottery tickets and going to casinos were favorite pastimes.  Ruby and Francisco always liked trying different restaurants and different and authentic foods.  Family time was everything to him and he never wavered when family members asked for any type of support.

A man full of spirituality and a strong faith, Francisco fought to the very end.  He will be remembered as one in a million and will be missed by all his family and friends.

Francisco is preceded in death by his daughter, Violet Gonzales, his parents, and his brother, Pedro Gonzales.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Ruby Gonzales; children, Pete Gonzales (Amanda), Christina Gonzales, Francie Spicer (Austin); grandchildren, David, Jordan, Skilyn, Gianni, Haylie, Dyllin, Calin, Kaydence, Jase, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Brave'eyn, Jor'vian, Kaicilius, Xias, Violet and one on the way; brother, Baldemar Guerrero, and John Gonzales (Janie); numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating.
