Freddie Lee Brietzke, Sr., age 75 of Kingsbury, passed away on December 22, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangelists' Lutheran Church of Kingsbury, 7745 CR 231, Kingsbury, Texas, 78638 with Rev. Duane Bamsch officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery. Freddie was born on January 9, 1937 in Guadalupe County Texas to Eugene and Annie Salge Brietzke. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Margaret Ann (Darty) Keys and his brothers-in-law, Jack Mayo and Jerry Baese. Survivors include his son, Freddie Lee Brietzke, Jr., and wife Kitty Lynn; daughter, Janet May; siblings, Helen Mayo, Eugene E. Brietzke and wife Edith, Leroy Brietzke and wife June, Jennie Faye Baese and Marvin (Bobby) Brietzke and wife Carol; grandchildren, Melanie Romero and husband Ernesto, Freddie Lee Brietzke, III and wife Alessandra, Luciana (Shana) Brietzke, Shane May and wife Ashley and Leila May; great-grandchildren, Mia, Medea, Marco, Michael, Kolyier, Alissa and Annabelle; uncle, Bernard Brietzke; aunt, Julia Brietzke; nephews who lived with him, Oran Canada, Pete Streety, and Charlie Streety; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Freddie will be remembered as always willing to help anybody, enjoyed gardening and enjoyed taking care of his beloved dogs. He was well loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
