Frederick L. (Fred) Romero, age 58 of Seguin, passed away on July 11, 2010. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Community Church with Rev. Jim Taylor and Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. A reception will follow in the Mosaic Community Center. Interment will be private at a later date. Fred was born on August 30, 1951 in Duluth, Minnesota to Mario and Erlys Kempton Romero. His parents precede him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Elizabeth (Liz) Romero; children, Melissa Romero, Nick Romero and Jack Baugh; grandson, Jonathan Romero; sister, Barbara Gill and husband Jim; brothers, Anthony Romero and wife Allah, Dr. Philip Romero and David Romero; uncle, Mike Romero; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Fred took great joy in serving the community as a Pharmacist for more than 25 years. He was a dedicated Master Gardener and served on the Boards of the Community Health Centers of South Central Texas, Rural Area Parenting Program Services and Mosaic Community Church.
