Frieda Dietert Lenz, age 75 of Ft. Worth, formerly of Seguin, passed away on November 4, 2010 in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Frieda was born on August 24, 1935 in Geronimo, Texas to Eugene and Wallie Dietert. Frieda was a graduate of New Braunfels High School Class of 1953. She married Glennvood Lenz on April 19, 1953. She was a member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church for 38 years. She retired from the Seguin Independent School District after serving 31 years as the secretary at F. C. Weinert Elementary School. She and Glennvood moved to Ft. Worth in 2004. She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Eric Dyreson, brother, Leroy Dietert and by her sister Shirley Mueller. Survivors include her husband of 57 years Glennvood (Glen) Lenz; daughters, Sharon Dyreson and husband Tim, and Connie Lenz; grandchildren, Jana, Aaron and Brock Dyreson; brothers, Gene Dietert and wife Betty and Darvin Dietert and wife Jeannette; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Dietert, Carey Dietert, Dale Dietert, Tom Post, Jody Gilles and Aaron Dyreson. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel's Lutheran Church, 206 N. Travis, Seguin, Texas, 78155 or to the charity of one's choice.
