IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gabriel "Gabe"
Sabedra
April 24, 1992 – April 18, 2022
Gabriel "Gabe" Sabedra, age 29 of San Antonio, formerly of Seguin, entered into Heaven and eternal rest on Monday, April 18, 2022 just a week short of celebrating his 30 th birthday.
Gabriel was born on April 24, 1992 in Seguin, Texas to Renee Salazar.
Gabriel is celebrated and survived by his doting mother, Renee Salazar and his step-father, Mike Medina; his adoring siblings, Heather Renee Sabedra, Santos Menchaca III, Izabella Renee Medina and Isaiah Sabedra; and his nieces and nephews whom he adored, Josiah Sebastian, Aubrey Rose and Wrayden Gabriel; his grandparents; Rosita Trevino, Catalino and Adeliada Valles; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family members and to many friends to count!
Gabriel was a lover of family, his faith, the color red, sports, laughing, his friends, and especially his sister Heather. Growing up only a year apart, they were more like twins in the sense that they were inseparable! The special bond that is and was shared between them will never be replaced, he was her best friend and the relationship they shared will forever hold a place in Heather and her children's hearts. Not only were he and Heather close, he also adored and spoiled his little sister Bella, his little mini-me. They were very close and he enjoyed every minute with her.
He was there for each and every person that came into his life and he appreciated and protected everyone and treated them all like family. He loved music, especially hip-hop and R&B, artists and songs that ranged from many decades. He was a dedicated hard worker, loved to BBQ which was always giving him a reason to hang out with family and friends. Gabriel also enjoyed art, and was a fashionista! He had a keen eye for fashion.
To know Gabriel is to have laughed or shared a kind word, weather that be a close friend or a stranger. Being humbly social was a special gift that Gabriel was bestowed. Those around him were drawn to his infectious laugh and cheerful personality. Gabriel was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. Selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted his character. Gabriel touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time. An exuberant bright light extinguished too soon; he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel.
