Gary B. Bowman, age 80 of Seguin, passed away on January 29, 2011. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Rev. Kevin Dellaria and Rev. Sam Gottlich officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Gary was born on June 6, 1930 in San Diego California to Arthur Harvey and Lois Audeen Ridgeway Bowman. Proudly serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict he was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He will be remembered as a geologist and worked for over forty years for Roland Blumberg. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Patsy Bowman, his parents and his brother Wayne Bowman. Survivors include his children, Melissa Kraft and husband, Jim, Jeff Bowman and wife, Debi and Susan Brennan and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Amy Murphy and husband, Bil, Ben Brennan, Doug Bowman, Alex Brennan and Madeline Bowman; great-granddaughters, Gwen and Brooke Murphy; sister, Bonnie Moxon; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be James Kraft, Tom Brennan, Bil Murphy, Doug Bowman, Ben Brennan and Alex Brennan.
