Obituary

Rev. George Albert Beinke passed away on December 8, 2014. Visitation will begin on Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 10:00 a.m. and the mass of Christian burial at 10:30 with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Deacon George was born on November 18, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. He will be remembered as a beloved husband and father, deacon, Knight of Columbus and Alamo Shrine Docent. He is preceded in death by his wife, Regina Anne Beinke, his parents, and brother-in-law, James Galvin. Survivors include his children, Christopher G. Beinke and wife Katie, Daniel J. Beinke, and Angela M. Beinke; grandson, Henry Christopher Beinke; sister-in-law, Virginia Galvin; nephew, Albert Galvin and wife Kerri; niece, Megan Litzen and husband Marc; great nieces, Landree, Lilly, and Lauryn Galvin, and Sophie and Olivia Litzen. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 510 S. Camp, Seguin, Texas, 78155 or to the American Heart Association, or to the American Diabetes Association.
