Rev. George Albert Beinke passed away on December 8, 2014. Visitation will begin on Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 10:00 a.m. and the mass of Christian burial at 10:30 with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Deacon George was born on November 18, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. He will be remembered as a beloved husband and father, deacon, Knight of Columbus and Alamo Shrine Docent. He is preceded in death by his wife, Regina Anne Beinke, his parents, and brother-in-law, James Galvin. Survivors include his children, Christopher G. Beinke and wife Katie, Daniel J. Beinke, and Angela M. Beinke; grandson, Henry Christopher Beinke; sister-in-law, Virginia Galvin; nephew, Albert Galvin and wife Kerri; niece, Megan Litzen and husband Marc; great nieces, Landree, Lilly, and Lauryn Galvin, and Sophie and Olivia Litzen.
