George Cohea, age 85 of Seguin, Texas, passed away on July 31, 2017. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. George was born in December 23, 1931 in Seguin to Otis and Bessie (Vinyard) Cohea. George proudly served his country during Korea in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from service, he worked in San Antonio for the Department of Transportation in highway maintenance. George returned to Seguin upon his retirement and devoted much of his time to his mother, with whom he was very close. George was a very friendly person and loved meeting new people. He had many friends and family who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Kendricks; brother, Russell Cohea. George is survived by his sister, Patricia Huber and husband, Jon Sulaica, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbors.
