George C. Schuchardt, age 44, passed away on March 9, 2011. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 3p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bill Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Geronimo. George was born on November 8, 1966 in Seguin, Texas to Milton Schuchardt and Amanda Louise Lehmann Schmidt. He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Clara Lehmann and Charles and Lottie Schuchardt. Survivors include his mother, Amanda Louise Schmidt and husband Ted; father, Milton Schuchardt; brothers, Ted Schmidt, III and wife Athema and Allen Schmidt; niece, Rheagan Schmidt; nephews, Dylan and Evan Schmidt; numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger G. Lehmann, Jr., Jerry W. Lehmann, Darryl P. Schuchardt, Dylan L. Schmidt, Evan W. Schmidt and Ronnie D. "Stoney" Wilkinson, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Joey Wilkinson.
