Gilbert Moreno Rodriguez, age 48 of Seguin, passed away on January 8, 2012. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 7 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Gilbert was born on May 25, 1963 in Lamesa, Texas to Rosalio Rodriguez and Maria Cruz Moreno Rodriguez. His parents and his sister, Linda Rodriguez and brother, Mark Anthony Rodriguez preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving partner, Leticia Rodriguez; his children, Gilbert Rodriguez, Jr., and wife Samantha; Linda Rodriguez and fiancé Danny Ramirez, Jr., Rachel Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez and Valerie Rodriguez; grandchildren, Mariah, Gilbert, III, Danny, Matthew, Gabrielle, Jason, Mary Anna, and Sabrina; siblings, Eusebio Rodriguez and wife, Paula, Rosalio Rodriguez, Jr. and wife, Heidi, Johnny Rodriguez and partner, Nancy Landin, and Sylvia Gomez and husband, Frank; friend and former wife, Rita Rodriguez; numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Rosalio Rodriguez, III, Richard Rodriguez, Antonio Moreno, Jr., Eusebio Moreno, Clemente Gomez, Jr., Johnny Joe Gomez, Noah Gomez and Mark Rodriguez.
