Glenn Leon Pape, age 63 of Seguin, passed away on May 28, 2017. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at San Geronimo Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dave Diercksen officiating. Glenn was born on July 23, 1953 in San Antonio Texas and his parents were Leon and Ethel (Baenziger) Pape. He graduated from Seguin High School in 1971 and from the University of Texas. He was a member of the University of Texas Longhorn Marching Band that played at the halftime show during the 1974 Super Bowl in Houston. He loved music and singing. He especially loved singing with his church choir. He enjoyed attending Marching Band competitions, Drum and Bugle Corp presentations, and all Sporting Events. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, Wayne Pape and wife Kathy; nephew, Shane Pape and wife Allison; niece, Kimberly Sanchez and husband Uli; great-nephew, Caleb Pape, great-nieces, Georgia Pape and Sienna Sanchez; numerous cousins; and his First Presbyterian Church family.
