Gloria Jean Boenig, age 82 of Kingsbury, passed away on May 12, 2025.  Gloria was born in Guadalupe County, Texas on August 12, 1942 to Lydia C. (Demuth) and Lanso R. Grimm.  Gloria grew up in Guadalupe County and will be remembered as a cosmetologist.  However, her favorite job was that of wife, mother and "Omie" to her beloved family.  Whatever or whenever there were activities to attend, Gloria and Allen did not miss, especially events of their children and grandchildren.  Their activities always entertained her.  Gloria and Allen loved to dance and many times led Grand Marches at their friends and family members wedding receptions.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alberta "Peaches" and Vernon Boenig, and brothers-in-law, Leo Henk, and Bob Boenig.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Allen V. Boenig; daughter, Crystal Campbell; son, Keith Boenig and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Carpenter Campbell, Shay Boenig and wife Elyzabeth, Walker Campbell, Chase Boenig, Garrett Wigger, Kyndall Ramirez, and Kayla Ramirez; sister, Emilia Ann "Annie" Henk; sisters-in-law, Joyce Harborth and husband Kenneth, and Frances Boenig; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend David Truenow officiating.

Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery and a reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall at Evangelist Lutheran Church Campus in Kingsbury.  Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
