Goldye Gayle Crockard, age 85 of Seguin, passed away on September 16, 2017. Gayle was born on November 15, 1931 in Seguin, Texas to Ralph Waldo and Lottie Lee (Ward) Crockard. Gayle was a graduate of Southwest Texas Teachers College (Texas State University) in San Marcos. She was a retired High School Business Teacher from the Nixon-Smiley Independent School District, where she was fondly remembered for teaching typing. She loved animals, especially her dog, Amy and cat, Silvie. In the past Gayle was always involved in the rescue of animals. Gayle was a member of First United Methodist Church in Seguin. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother Ward Crockard and his wife Kathy; several nephews and their families and friends. Private services will be held.
