Gregorio "Greg" Garcia, III, age 63 of Seguin, passed away on February 12, 2025.  Greg was born on November 15, 1961 in Robstown, Texas to Marta (Ramirez) and Gregorio Gonzalez Garcia, Jr.

He was a diesel mechanic and began his career at Hill Hardware in Robstown, Texas.  After moving to Seguin, he was employed with D & D Tractor, then Ewald Tractor and finally Tractor City.  Greg enjoyed farming, barbequing, or any other activity outdoors.  He would volunteer and assist the Knights of Columbus in their various activities.  His most precious times were spent with family and friends.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Irma Garcia; son, Alvino Garcia; daughter, Leanor Garcia; granddaughter, Aaliyah Rose; honorary aunt, Irene Garcia (Marcario); siblings, Armando Garcia, Mario Garcia (Laurey), Albert Lee Garcia, Sr. (Margarita), Perla Garcia (Tony), and Sebastian Garcia, Sr. (Lee Anna); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Olivia and Abel Gaitan; brothers-in-law, Alcario Gaitan (Judy), Arnoldo Gaitan, and Armando Gaitan (Tiffany); numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will begin on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Santo Tomas Cemetery.  A reception will be announced.

Serving as pallbearers will be Albert Lee Garcia, Sr., Sebastian A. Garcia, Sr., Sebastian A. Garcia, Jr., Martin Robledo, III, Arnoldo Gaitan, Alfredo Garcia, Izaiah Botello, and Santino Alberto Gaitan.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Garcia and Albert Lee Garcia, Jr.
