Helen Rogers Bell, age 94 of Seguin, formerly of San Antonio went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2010. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 11 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with her oldest son, George Bell, officiating. Private interment and graveside services will be held at Mission Burial Park South. Helen was born on May 13, 1915 in Bexar County, Texas to Leslie and Ophelia Elizabeth Shields Rogers. Her husband, Jesse Lee Bell, parents, brother, Leslie (Manny) Rogers, Jr. and sister Dorothy Mikes preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, George Bell and wife Glenda, Jo Ann Blackerby and husband Charles, Carolyn Jordon and husband Norman and Duane Bell and wife Molly; sister, Sybil Franklin; brother, Glenn Rogers and wife Joyce; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
