Helen Elizabeth Brietzke, age 87 of Marion, passed away on December 13, 2018. Visitation will begin on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 1 PM at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral services at 2 PM with Rev. Lee Zillmann officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery in Marion.  Helen was born on November 17, 1931 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Walter and Anita (Kallies) Knodel. Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert L. Brietzke, her parents, and her brothers, Gilbert, Delroy and Clevin Knodel.  Survivors include her children, Geraldine (Gerry) Rucker and husband Wayne, Larry Brietzke and wife Kathy, and Jeanette Walpole and husband Clayton; grandchildren, Wendy Rucker Thibeault and husband Kevin, Crystal Walpole Dojahn and husband Derick, Ethan Walpole and wife Denise, Megan Brietzke Schneider and husband Daniel and Hunter Brietzke; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Caitlyn and Kendall Thibeault, Cambry Dojahn, Kinnidi and Karcyn Schneider and soon to make his appearance, Ayden Gilbert Walpole; niece, Janice Kemp and husband Richard; great-niece, Lisa Cambiano and husband Larry and their son Lance; numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Walpole, Hunter Brietzke, Derick Dojahn, Kevin Thibeault and Richard Kemp. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 606 S.
