Helen Elliott, age 80 of Seguin, passed away on July 25, 2009. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Steve Purdy officiating. Helen was born on April 4, 1929 in Luling, Texas to Edward Monroe and Ivy Brewer Ramzinsky. Helen was a member of First United Methodist Church of Seguin. She will be remembered for her famous pecan pies and volunteer work with the Salvation Army. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Roy Elliott, her grandson, Barry Kenneth Meza, her parents and three brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Brazle and husband, Mark; son, Kenneth Lee Elliott; granddaughter, Rachael Meza; great-grandchildren, Miranda and Marcus Cantu and Richard and Barry Meza, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
