Helen L. Gamblin, age 85 of Seguin, passed away on May 4, 2018. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. with Pastor Butch Ikels officiating. Interment will follow in the San Geronimo Cemetery. Helen was born on December 10, 1932 in Comanche, Texas, to Jimmy Clanton and Flossie Mae (Cottney) Lester. She is preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Don Gamblin and David Shane Gamblin, and her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Jerry Dean Gamblin; son, Paul Dean Gamblin and wife Lee Ann; grandsons, Colton Gamblin and Jake Gamblin; granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Wise and husband Jimmy; great-granddaughter, Kadie Wise; great-grandson, Evan Jackson Wise; brother, James Lester and wife Sue; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
