Herman Dolle, age 73 of Seguin, passed away on January 17, 2010. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Purdy officiating. Interment under the auspices of American Legion H. U. Wood Post #245 will follow in Eden Cemetery. Herman was born on February 17, 1936 in Guadalupe County to LeRoy E. and Linda Illhardt Dolle. He was a graduate of Seguin High School Class of 1955. He proudly served his country in the United State Army. He retired from the Texas Highway Department. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his sister, Jeanette Dietz and her husband, Tuddy; his brother, Stanley Dolle and his wife, Anne; nieces and nephews, Pamela Durben and husband, Craig, Sharon Scheffler and husband, Richard, Cynthia Osborne and husband, Doug, Dr. Duane Dietz and Jami Carley and husband, Spencer; great nieces and great nephews, David, Travis, Erin, Kelly, Kahlan, Adric and Ashlee; uncle, Carl Illhardt and wife, Estelle; numerous cousins and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Dr. Duane Dietz, Richard Scheffler, Craig Durben, Allan Bode, Doug Osborne, Spencer Carley and Harry Gene Dietz.
