Howard R. Drobny, age 83 of Seguin, passed away on January 1, 2013. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at San Geronimo Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Howard was born on January 12, 1929 in Cadillac, Michigan to Julius and Mary Nickischer Drobny. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Howard will also be remembered as serving as the Chief of Police in Minnetonka, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Herta Drobny and his parents. Survivors include his sister, Anna Marvin; dearest special friend, Mary Bellesen, her family, husband Will and her children Latasha Fast, Pamela Smith, Felicia Smith and her granddaughter Summer Hall; several nieces and nephews.
