Obituary

Irma Idalia Ramos, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born May 11, 1941 in Falfurrias, Texas, to Manuela (Perez) and Adan Lopez.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ramiro Ramos Sr., brother, Wilfredo Lopez and sister, Yomeida Venecia.

Survivors include her son, Ramiro Ramos Jr. "Rammy" and wife Glenda; daughter, Roxanna Bujanos and husband John; grandchildren, Raquel A. Mendoza (Chase), Robyn A. Ramos, Ramiro Ramos III, Dominic D. Bujanos and Mercedes O. Bujanos; great-grandchildren, Woodrow W. Mendoza and Walker W. Mendoza; borther-in-law Raymundo and Barbra Ramos. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Irma had a passion for gardening, painting, and home decorating, which filled our home with beauty. She had a unique way of making every holiday special. Her famous sugar cookies were always a family favorite, decorated by the family.  A cookie decorating tradition that will lovingly be carried on for years to come by her family. Irma's greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked tirelessly to create a home filled with warmth and love.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at San Geronimo Cemetery.
